57,300 registered bed nights
In December 2019, 57,300 bed nights were recorded in Härjedalen (-10.9 %), of which 54,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,500 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 11 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 13 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 11 percent from last year's December.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (700 nights).
11,900 rooms (+10.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,400 rooms (+18.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 548,000 bed nights (+0.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 84,300 (-13.0 %) for foreigners in Härjedalen, in total 632,000 (-1.2 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
