Registered bed nights increased 270 percent

In April 2021, 59,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Härjedalen (+266.6 %), of which 58,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 970 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 270 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 115 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 270 percent from last year's April.

11,100 rooms (+566.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,200 rooms (+181.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 315,000 registered bed nights (+26.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,100 (-69.8 %) for foreigners in Härjedalen, in total 319,000 (+21.2 %) registered nights.

Market share 2.3 percent

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Härjedalen out of total registered bed nights was 2.3 % (+1.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 2.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.4 %.

13,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 230 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.3 percent were domestic, and 3.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Härjedalen on average 4.5 nights (+0.64) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-7.5).
