Registered bed nights increased 38 percent
In May 2022, 5,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Härnösand (+38.0 %), of which 4,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 480 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 46 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 38 percent from last year's May.
2,800 rooms (+94.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,200 rooms (-16.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 17,900 registered bed nights (+63.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,400 (+141.0 %) for foreigners in Härnösand, in total 19,300 (+67.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 37 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 90.6 percent were domestic, and 9.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Härnösand on average 1.8 nights (+0.1) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-1.6).
