Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 220 percent

In August 2021, 9,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Härryda (+216.2 %), of which 7,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 170 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 540 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 220 percent from last year's August.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Switzerland (340 nights).

2,500 rooms (+187.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,000 rooms (+185.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 31,700 registered bed nights (+34.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 8,800 (+77.5 %) for foreigners in Härryda, in total 40,600 (+41.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 8.4 million registered bed nights (+39.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 6.8 million nights (+25.4 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+160.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Härryda out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay was 1.4 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 10 percent compared to earlier year. In Härryda, length of stay in August was on average 1.4 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (-3.6 %).

During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Härryda on average 1.4 nights (+11.6 %) and foreigners 1.2 nights (+10.6 %).

7,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 250 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 71.4 percent were domestic, and 28.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Härryda on average 1.4 nights (-0.16) and foreigners 1.2 nights (+0.07).
