Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased six percent

In February 2023, 4,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Hässleholm (+6.1 %), of which 4,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 430 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased six percent and registered foreign bed nights increased five percent. In total, registered bed nights increased six percent from last year's February.

720 rooms (-6.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (+20.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 8,700 registered bed nights (+16.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 960 (+32.8 %) for foreigners in Hässleholm, in total 9,600 (+18.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.5 million registered bed nights (+20.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+17.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 756,000 nights (+32.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hässleholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 2.6 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 11 percent compared to earlier year. In Hässleholm, length of stay in February was on average 2.6 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-5.0 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hässleholm on average 2.8 nights (-12.9 %) and foreigners 1.5 nights (-0.1 %).

1,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 19 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 84.5 percent were domestic, and 15.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hässleholm on average 2.8 nights (-0.44) and foreigners 1.5 nights (+0.04).
