17,000 registered bed nights

In August 2019, 17,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Hässleholm (-1.3 %), of which 13,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased four percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 12 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased one percent from last year's August.

3,000 rooms (+58.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,100 rooms (+16.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 75,500 registered bed nights (+3.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 16,900 (+0.7 %) for foreigners in Hässleholm, in total 92,300 (+3.3 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 11 percent compared to earlier year. In Hässleholm, length of stay in August was on average 2.2 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (+0.4 %).

During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hässleholm on average 2.2 nights (+5.2 %) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+11.4 %).

7,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 11 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 79.3 percent were domestic, and 20.7 percent were from foreign countries.
