4,500 registered bed nights

In April 2020, 4,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Hässleholm (-48.9 %), of which 3,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 780 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 48 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 54 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 49 percent from last year's April.

640 rooms (-66.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,400 rooms (-41.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 15,900 registered bed nights (-28.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,300 (-30.9 %) for foreigners in Hässleholm, in total 18,200 (-29.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.3 million registered bed nights (-70.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.1 million nights (-65.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 114,000 nights (-88.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hässleholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.7 %.

Length of stay increased 39 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 39 percent compared to earlier year. In Hässleholm, length of stay in April was on average 4.4 nights and in Sweden 2.5 nights (+16.7 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hässleholm on average 4.1 nights (+18.0 %) and foreigners 6.9 nights (+10.0 %).

1,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 63 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.8 percent were domestic, and 11.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hässleholm on average 4.1 nights (+1.2) and foreigners 6.9 nights (+2.1).
