Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 35 percent

In May 2021, 9,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Hässleholm (+34.7 %), of which 8,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 910 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 34 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 43 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 35 percent from last year's May.

2,200 rooms (+80.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,900 rooms (+33.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 23,900 registered bed nights (+6.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,700 (-9.7 %) for foreigners in Hässleholm, in total 26,600 (+4.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.3 million registered bed nights (+46.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.0 million nights (+45.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 291,000 nights (+65.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hässleholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.3 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

Length of stay increased two percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. In Hässleholm, length of stay in May was on average 2.4 nights and in Sweden 2.3 nights (-5.3 %).

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hässleholm on average 2.3 nights (+11.9 %) and foreigners 7.4 nights (+1.9 %).

4,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 32 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.9 percent were domestic, and 3.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hässleholm on average 2.3 nights (-0.07) and foreigners 7.4 nights (+4.6).
