Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 35 percent

In April 2022, 8,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Hässleholm (+35.5 %), of which 7,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 29 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 35 percent from last year's April.

2,100 rooms (+46.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,500 rooms (+40.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 19,900 registered bed nights (+32.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,700 (+51.7 %) for foreigners in Hässleholm, in total 22,600 (+34.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.2 million registered bed nights (+64.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+46.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 791,000 nights (+260.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hässleholm out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay was 2.3 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 29 percent compared to earlier year. In Hässleholm, length of stay in April was on average 2.3 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-23.8 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hässleholm on average 2.2 nights (-28.5 %) and foreigners 2.7 nights (-16.5 %).

3,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 91 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.5 percent were domestic, and 12.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hässleholm on average 2.2 nights (-0.93) and foreigners 2.7 nights (-0.96).
