41,300 registered bed nights
In August 2022, 41,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Haugesund And Haugeland (-28.0 %), of which 30,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 10,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 35 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased one percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 28 percent from last year's August.
11,700 nights (-8.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 11,700 nights (-24.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 194,000 registered bed nights (-16.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 67,700 (+42.4 %) for foreigners in Haugesund And Haugeland, in total 261,000 (-6.8 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 12 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 70.5 percent were domestic, and 29.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Haugesund And Haugeland on average 2.0 nights (-0.86) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-1.9).
