Registered bed nights increased 14 percent
In June 2021, 1,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Hedemora (+13.7 %), of which 1,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 14 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 14 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased seven percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 14 percent from last year's June.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United Kingdom (3.0 nights).
300 rooms (-31.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 580 rooms (+33.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 4,700 registered bed nights (-9.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 141 (-57.9 %) for foreigners in Hedemora, in total 4,900 (-12.4 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
