Registered bed nights increased 36 percent
In October 2021, 1,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Hedemora (+36.4 %), of which 1,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 27 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 29 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 36 percent from last year's October.
350 rooms (+68.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 860 rooms (+33.4 %) by business visitors.
Between January and October, 11,900 registered bed nights (+7.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 420 (-15.3 %) for foreigners in Hedemora, in total 12,300 (+6.3 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
