Hedemora: Tourism in a nutshell

1,400 registered bed nights
In August 2022, 1,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Hedemora (-31.9 %), of which 1,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 103 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 33 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 19 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 32 percent from last year's August.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Finland (32 nights).
330 rooms (-53.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 400 rooms (+17.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 8,900 registered bed nights (-0.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 920 (+169.4 %) for foreigners in Hedemora, in total 9,800 (+5.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
