Registered bed nights increased 48 percent

In May 2022, 1,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Hedemora (+47.5 %), of which 1,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 27 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 1,500 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 48 percent from last year's May.

350 rooms (+15.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 760 rooms (+83.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 4,400 registered bed nights (+28.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 550 (+333.1 %) for foreigners in Hedemora, in total 5,000 (+39.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 5.4 million registered bed nights (+64.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 4.4 million nights (+46.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 993,000 nights (+241.6 %) by foreigners.
