Paid bed nights
29,200 registered bed nights
In March 2023, 29,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Hedmark Region (-8.2 %), of which 27,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased three percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 63 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased eight percent from last year's March.
9,600 nights (+225.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 8,400 nights (-53.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 70,600 registered bed nights (+22.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 7,400 (-33.5 %) for foreigners in Hedmark Region, in total 78,000 (+13.2 %) registered nights.

Length of stay was 2.0 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased nine percent compared to earlier year. In Hedmark Region, length of stay in March was on average 2.0 nights and in Norway 2.0 nights (-6.1 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hedmark Region on average 2.0 nights (-2.5 %) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-48.0 %).
14,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased one percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.3 percent were domestic, and 8.7 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hedmark Region on average 2.0 nights (-0.03) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-1.5).
