Registered bed nights increased 115 percent
In June 2021, 34,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Hedmark Region (+114.9 %), of which 33,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 112 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 290 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 115 percent from last year's June.
8,800 nights were spend by leisure visitors and 6,700 nights by business visitors.
Between January and June, 96,600 registered bed nights (+11.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,300 (-41.6 %) for foreigners in Hedmark Region, in total 101,000 (+6.8 %) registered nights.

Length of stay was 2.2 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 43 percent compared to earlier year. In Hedmark Region, length of stay in June was on average 2.2 nights and in Norway 2.2 nights (+6.9 %).
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hedmark Region on average 2.2 nights (-12.6 %) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+47.6 %).
16,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 280 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.4 percent were domestic, and 2.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hedmark Region on average 2.2 nights (-1.7) and foreigners 2.7 nights (+0.5).
