In November 2019, 10,900 bed nights were recorded in Heinola Region (-38.9 %), of which 10,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 260 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 36 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 78 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 39 percent from last year's November.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Russia (50 nights).
5,600 nights (-41.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 5,300 nights (-36.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and November, 180,000 bed nights (-21.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 16,500 (-7.3 %) for foreigners in Heinola Region, in total 197,000 (-20.7 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 14 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 97.4 percent were domestic, and 2.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Heinola Region on average 1.8 nights (-0.67) and foreigners 1.6 nights (-1.9).
