In March 2020, 6,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Heinola Region (-43.0 %), of which 6,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 146 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 40 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 81 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 43 percent from last year's March.
3,400 nights (-53.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,500 nights (-27.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 34,400 registered bed nights (-2.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,000 (-37.6 %) for foreigners in Heinola Region, in total 38,300 (-7.8 %) registered nights.
