Registered bed nights increased 103 percent (March)
In March 2022, 12,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Heinola (+103.4 %), of which 12,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 192 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 101 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 1,600 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 103 percent from last year's March.
10,600 nights (+82.1 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,800 nights (+587.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 32,200 registered bed nights (+55.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 560 (+70.1 %) for foreigners in Heinola, in total 32,700 (+55.5 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.
