30,500 registered bed nights

In October 2021, 30,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Helgeland, of which 27,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,100 nights by foreigners.

10,600 nights were spend by leisure visitors and 12,400 nights by business visitors.

Between January and October, 433,000 registered bed nights were recorded for domestic visitors and 57,700 for foreigners in Helgeland, in total 491,000 registered nights.

Total of 2.4 million registered bed nights (+57.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.1 million nights (+50.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 306,000 nights (+120.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Helgeland out of total registered bed nights was 1.3 % (-0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.3 % and foreign bed nights 1.0 %.

15,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Of all registered arrivals, 92.6 percent were domestic, and 7.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Helgeland on average 2.0 nights and foreigners 2.8 nights.
