Registered bed nights increased 76 percent
In April 2021, 33,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Helsingborg (+76.5 %), of which 29,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 79 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 57 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 76 percent from last year's April.
12,200 rooms (+95.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 6,100 rooms (+42.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 92,000 registered bed nights (-14.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 14,600 (-45.9 %) for foreigners in Helsingborg, in total 107,000 (-21.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 140 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.3 percent were domestic, and 6.7 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Helsingborg on average 1.8 nights (-0.76) and foreigners 3.5 nights (+0.58).
