41,400 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 41,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Helsingborg (-52.9 %), of which 36,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 46 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 77 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 53 percent from last year's June.

12,400 rooms (-50.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 6,600 rooms (-62.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 168,000 registered bed nights (-36.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 35,200 (-50.8 %) for foreigners in Helsingborg, in total 203,000 (-39.7 %) registered nights.

Market share 1.1 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Helsingborg out of total registered bed nights was 1.1 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.1 % and foreign bed nights 1.8 %.

19,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 59 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 89.1 percent were domestic, and 10.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Helsingborg on average 2.1 nights (+0.26) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+0.43).
