Hjo: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased 41 percent
In May 2022, 10,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Hjo (+41.4 %), of which 10,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 210 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 54 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 71 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 41 percent from last year's May.
960 rooms (+39.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 890 rooms (+58.9 %) by business visitors.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 41 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.3 percent were domestic, and 2.7 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hjo on average 2.1 nights (-0.08) and foreigners 1.6 nights (+0.13).
