Paid bed nights

15,500 registered bed nights

In June 2019, 15,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Höganäs (-17.6 %), of which 12,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased eight percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 44 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 18 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (1,200 nights).

2,200 rooms (-13.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 880 rooms (-28.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 32,500 registered bed nights (-10.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 7,800 (-33.5 %) for foreigners in Höganäs, in total 40,300 (-15.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 7.1 million registered bed nights (+7.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.0 million nights (+8.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.1 million nights (+5.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Höganäs out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased six percent compared to earlier year. In Höganäs, length of stay in June was on average 4.8 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Höganäs on average 5.0 nights (-0.3 %) and foreigners 3.9 nights (-40.3 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 12 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 77.6 percent were domestic, and 22.4 percent were from foreign countries.
