Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 19 percent

In September 2018, 5,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Hörby (+18.8 %), of which 3,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 126 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 19 percent from last year's September.

440 rooms (-7.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 210 rooms (-13.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 31,000 registered bed nights (-11.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 20,400 (+132.2 %) for foreigners in Hörby, in total 51,300 (+17.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.4 million registered bed nights (-0.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.3 million nights (-1.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (+2.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hörby out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay increased 41 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 41 percent compared to earlier year. In Hörby, length of stay in September was on average 4.2 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (+0.8 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hörby on average 3.4 nights (+5.3 %) and foreigners 6.2 nights (+82.3 %).

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 16 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 72.9 percent were domestic, and 27.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hörby on average 3.4 nights (+0.5) and foreigners 6.2 nights (+3.1).
