9,200 registered bed nights

In August 2019, 9,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Hörby (-14.1 %), of which 5,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased five percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 14 percent from last year's August.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (1,500 nights).

690 rooms (-2.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 670 rooms (+242.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 26,500 registered bed nights (-5.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 23,000 (+25.5 %) for foreigners in Hörby, in total 49,600 (+7.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 8.9 million registered bed nights (+3.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 6.1 million nights (+4.0 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.8 million nights (+3.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hörby out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 2.5 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 12 percent compared to earlier year. In Hörby, length of stay in August was on average 2.5 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (+0.4 %).

During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hörby on average 2.4 nights (-1.5 %) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+7.5 %).

3,700 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 60.7 percent were domestic, and 39.3 percent were from foreign countries.
