Registered bed nights increased 200 percent
In April 2022, 5,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Horten Region (+199.9 %), of which 5,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 166 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 1,400 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 200 percent from last year's April.
1,800 nights (+710.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,000 nights (+19.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 13,400 registered bed nights (+608.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,000 (+3,749.1 %) for foreigners in Horten Region, in total 15,400 (+693.5 %) registered nights.

Length of stay was 2.5 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased less than one percent compared to earlier year. In Horten Region, length of stay in April was on average 2.5 nights and in Norway 2.1 nights (-24.2 %).
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Horten Region on average 2.6 nights (+30.1 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-46.8 %).
2,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 200 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 83.1 percent were domestic, and 16.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Horten Region on average 2.6 nights (+0.13) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-3.9).
