Registered bed nights increased six percent
In June 2022, 28,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Horten Region (+6.0 %), of which 26,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased one percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 790 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased six percent from last year's June.
3,600 nights (-5.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,800 nights (-17.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 60,300 registered bed nights (+26.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,500 (+877.5 %) for foreigners in Horten Region, in total 65,800 (+36.4 %) registered nights.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased less than one percent compared to earlier year. In Horten Region, length of stay in June was on average 4.1 nights and in Norway 2.0 nights (-11.7 %).
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Horten Region on average 4.7 nights (-3.3 %) and foreigners 1.7 nights (+21.0 %).
7,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased six percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 81.4 percent were domestic, and 18.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Horten Region on average 4.7 nights (+0.49) and foreigners 1.7 nights (+0.21).
