Registered bed nights increased nine percent

In April 2021, 11,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Huddinge (+8.9 %), of which 10,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 39 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 63 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased nine percent from last year's April.

2,300 rooms (+81.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 5,300 rooms (-21.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 41,200 registered bed nights (-12.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,100 (-74.6 %) for foreigners in Huddinge, in total 45,300 (-27.9 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.5 percent

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Huddinge out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (-0.4 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.5 %.

3,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 83 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.7 percent were domestic, and 5.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Huddinge on average 3.3 nights (-1.2) and foreigners 6.6 nights (-12).
