Huddinge: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
Registered bed nights increased 68 percent
In May 2022, 21,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Huddinge (+67.7 %), of which 18,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 62 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 113 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 68 percent from last year's May.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (580 nights).
5,100 rooms (+139.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 10,000 rooms (+63.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and May, 73,200 registered bed nights (+39.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 9,000 (+62.8 %) for foreigners in Huddinge, in total 82,200 (+41.4 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

10,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 177 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.3 percent were domestic, and 8.7 percent were from foreign countries.
During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Huddinge on average 1.9 nights (-1.3) and foreigners 3.4 nights (-2.7).
