Registered bed nights increased 14 percent

In December 2021, 14,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Huddinge (+14.1 %), of which 12,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 16 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased five percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 14 percent from last year's December.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Finland (168 nights).

2,700 rooms (+7.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 5,800 rooms (+13.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 162,000 registered bed nights (+21.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 16,700 (-44.3 %) for foreigners in Huddinge, in total 179,000 (+9.0 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.4 percent

Total of 3.4 million registered bed nights (+85.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+74.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 553,000 nights (+166.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Huddinge out of total registered bed nights was 0.4 % (-0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

5,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 59 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.4 percent were domestic, and 6.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During December, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Huddinge on average 2.6 nights (-0.89) and foreigners 3.2 nights (-4.5).
