Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased one percent

In September 2019, 22,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Huddinge (+1.4 %), of which 15,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 6,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 12 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 58 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased one percent from last year's September.

4,400 rooms (+6.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 9,900 rooms (-7.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 129,000 registered bed nights (-10.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 60,500 (+48.7 %) for foreigners in Huddinge, in total 190,000 (+2.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.5 million registered bed nights (+2.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+3.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.2 million nights (-1.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Huddinge out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.6 %.

Length of stay increased 28 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 28 percent compared to earlier year. In Huddinge, length of stay in September was on average 2.1 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-1.3 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Huddinge on average 1.8 nights (+4.1 %) and foreigners 3.5 nights (+48.2 %).

10,900 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 21 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 83.1 percent were domestic, and 16.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Huddinge on average 1.8 nights (+0.2) and foreigners 3.5 nights (+1.7).
