Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 20 percent

In November 2019, 20,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Huddinge (+19.6 %), of which 16,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 16 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 36 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 20 percent from last year's November.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Croatia (660 nights).

3,400 rooms (+7.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 10,000 rooms (+8.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 164,000 registered bed nights (-6.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 69,600 (+46.3 %) for foreigners in Huddinge, in total 233,000 (+4.7 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.6 million registered bed nights (+3.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.9 million nights (+5.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 731,000 nights (-6.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Huddinge out of total registered bed nights was 0.6 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.6 %.

Length of stay increased 28 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 28 percent compared to earlier year. In Huddinge, length of stay in November was on average 2.1 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (+0.6 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Huddinge on average 1.9 nights (+8.5 %) and foreigners 3.5 nights (+51.7 %).

9,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased seven percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.9 percent were domestic, and 12.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Huddinge on average 1.9 nights (+0.36) and foreigners 3.5 nights (+1.3).
