Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased three percent

In October 2019, 7,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Hudiksvall (+3.3 %), of which 6,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased two percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 10 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased three percent from last year's October.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (220 nights).

1,200 rooms (+14.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,000 rooms (-6.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and October, 97,800 registered bed nights (+9.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 19,100 (+17.4 %) for foreigners in Hudiksvall, in total 117,000 (+10.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+3.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.1 million nights (+5.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 936,000 nights (-2.2 %) by foreigners.
