Registered bed nights increased 31 percent

In April 2021, 1,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Hultsfred (+31.1 %), of which 1,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 240 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 16 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 410 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 31 percent from last year's April.

188 rooms (+12.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms (+14.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 4,200 registered bed nights (-33.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 690 (-45.7 %) for foreigners in Hultsfred, in total 4,900 (-35.1 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hultsfred out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 103 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 89.3 percent were domestic, and 10.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hultsfred on average 2.0 nights (-1.3) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+0.48).
