Registered bed nights increased seven percent
In August 2022, 12,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Hultsfred (+7.3 %), of which 6,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 11 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 43 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased seven percent from last year's August.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (3,800 nights).
940 rooms (+22.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 125 rooms (-25.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and August, 30,900 registered bed nights (-1.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 17,000 (+81.0 %) for foreigners in Hultsfred, in total 47,900 (+17.5 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased one percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 86.9 percent were domestic, and 13.1 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hultsfred on average 8.4 nights (-0.89) and foreigners 47 nights (+14).
