Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 43 percent

In February 2023, 1,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Hultsfred (+43.2 %), of which 1,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 320 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 31 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 168 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 43 percent from last year's February.

510 rooms (+155.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 900 rooms (+5.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 3,100 registered bed nights (+24.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 540 (+126.5 %) for foreigners in Hultsfred, in total 3,600 (+33.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.5 million registered bed nights (+20.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.8 million nights (+17.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 756,000 nights (+32.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hultsfred out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased 20 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 20 percent compared to earlier year. In Hultsfred, length of stay in February was on average 2.0 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-5.0 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hultsfred on average 1.8 nights (+81.2 %) and foreigners 3.9 nights (+179.9 %).

980 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 19 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.7 percent were domestic, and 8.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hultsfred on average 1.8 nights (+0.19) and foreigners 3.9 nights (+1.9).
