Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 46 percent

In February 2020, 2,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Hultsfred (+46.1 %), of which 2,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 360 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 40 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 90 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 46 percent from last year's February.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (200 nights).

200 rooms (-54.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 700 rooms (+24.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 3,600 registered bed nights (+42.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,000 (+200.0 %) for foreigners in Hultsfred, in total 4,700 (+60.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.4 million registered bed nights (+3.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.5 million nights (+5.0 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 935,000 nights (-2.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hultsfred out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay increased 71 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 71 percent compared to earlier year. In Hultsfred, length of stay in February was on average 3.2 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (-3.1 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hultsfred on average 3.0 nights (+64.2 %) and foreigners 6.4 nights (+278.2 %).

740 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 14 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.3 percent were domestic, and 7.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hultsfred on average 3.0 nights (+1.1) and foreigners 6.4 nights (+4.1).
