Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 28 percent

In February 2022, 1,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Hultsfred (+28.3 %), of which 1,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 119 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 22 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 28 percent from last year's February.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United Kingdom (27 nights).

200 rooms (+31.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 850 rooms (+32.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 2,500 registered bed nights (+38.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 240 (-11.9 %) for foreigners in Hultsfred, in total 2,700 (+32.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.9 million registered bed nights (+10.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (-3.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 571,000 nights (+159.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hultsfred out of total registered bed nights was 0.0 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay was 1.7 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased eight percent compared to earlier year. In Hultsfred, length of stay in February was on average 1.7 nights and in Sweden 2.0 nights (-34.6 %).

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hultsfred on average 1.6 nights (-7.9 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-35.9 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 39 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.8 percent were domestic, and 7.2 percent were from foreign countries.
