Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 11 percent

In August 2019, 6,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Hylte (+10.8 %), of which 4,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 19 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased two percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 11 percent from last year's August.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (1,100 nights).

440 rooms (+11.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 360 rooms (+52.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 22,400 registered bed nights (+6.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 9,700 (+7.4 %) for foreigners in Hylte, in total 32,000 (+6.6 %) registered nights.

Total of 8.9 million registered bed nights (+3.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 6.1 million nights (+4.0 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.8 million nights (+3.0 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hylte out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay increased 198 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 198 percent compared to earlier year. In Hylte, length of stay in August was on average 7.0 nights and in Sweden 2.2 nights (+0.4 %).

During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hylte on average 5.1 nights (+124.8 %) and foreigners 27 nights (+461.8 %).

940 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 63 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.2 percent were domestic, and 8.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hylte on average 5.1 nights (+3.0) and foreigners 27 nights (+24).
