Paid bed nights

9,500 registered bed nights

In July 2020, 9,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Hylte (-31.8 %), of which 9,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 95 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 32 percent from last year's July.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (156 nights).

820 rooms (+6.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 146 rooms (-62.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and July, 19,900 registered bed nights (+10.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 870 (-88.3 %) for foreigners in Hylte, in total 20,800 (-18.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 9.4 million registered bed nights (-30.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 8.8 million nights (-5.6 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 551,000 nights (-86.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hylte out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

Length of stay was 8.1 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 26 percent compared to earlier year. In Hylte, length of stay in July was on average 8.1 nights and in Sweden 2.4 nights (-0.2 %).

During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hylte on average 8.2 nights (+22.2 %) and foreigners 5.6 nights (-43.5 %).

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased eight percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.4 percent were domestic, and 4.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hylte on average 8.2 nights (+0.13) and foreigners 5.6 nights (-17).
