Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 18 percent

In October 2021, 2,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Hylte (+17.6 %), of which 2,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 140 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased nine percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 18 percent from last year's October.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (53 nights).

270 rooms (+32.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 420 rooms (+28.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and October, 35,000 registered bed nights (+10.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,100 (+230.9 %) for foreigners in Hylte, in total 40,100 (+20.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.9 million registered bed nights (+25.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.2 million nights (+19.8 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 708,000 nights (+57.4 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Hylte out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay was 2.1 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 14 percent compared to earlier year. In Hylte, length of stay in October was on average 2.1 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-4.6 %).

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hylte on average 2.1 nights (-44.5 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-34.4 %).

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 36 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.4 percent were domestic, and 5.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Hylte on average 2.1 nights (-0.31) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-0.67).
