Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 300 percent

In April 2021, 116,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Innlandet (+295.4 %), of which 114,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 310 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 23 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 300 percent from last year's April.

29,900 nights (+557.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 14,000 nights (+145.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 467,000 registered bed nights (+11.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 11,100 (-95.6 %) for foreigners in Innlandet, in total 478,000 (-28.6 %) registered nights.

Market share 13.2 percent

Total of 883,000 registered bed nights (+166.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 788,000 nights (+184.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 94,300 nights (+75.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Innlandet out of total registered bed nights was 13.2 % (+4.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 14.5 % and foreign bed nights 2.4 %.

Length of stay increased two percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. In Innlandet, length of stay in April was on average 3.4 nights and in Norway 2.8 nights (-3.0 %).

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Innlandet on average 3.4 nights (+26.5 %) and foreigners 3.5 nights (-10.6 %).

34,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 290 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.1 percent were domestic, and 1.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Innlandet on average 3.4 nights (+0.08) and foreigners 3.5 nights (-0.18).

Registered January-April sales were 138.0 million crowns and they decreased 114.0 million crowns from the previous year.
