29,000 registered bed nights

In December 2022, 29,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Jämsä (-11.8 %), of which 26,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,800 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 15 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 34 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 12 percent from last year's December.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Estonia (1,900 nights).

20,700 nights (-19.9 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 8,200 nights (+18.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 268,000 registered bed nights (+2.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 21,000 (+94.2 %) for foreigners in Jämsä, in total 289,000 (+5.8 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.8 million registered bed nights (+11.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.1 million nights (+5.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 731,000 nights (+23.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Jämsä out of total registered bed nights was 1.6 % (-0.4 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 2.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.4 %.

Total accommodation sales in December were 1.5 million euro (+5,700). The share of Airbnb and Vrbo was 22.7 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 1.1 million euro (-117,000) and non-registered sales 333,000 euro (+123,000).

Total January-December sales were 13.0 million euro and they increased 1.1 million euro from the previous year.
