36,900 bed nights in paid accommodation
Total of 36,900 bed nights (+80.4 %) were recorded in paid accommodation in Jämsä in March 2021. This figure includes bed nights at registered establishments as well as at AirBnB and Vrbo. The share of registered bed nights was 79 % and non-registered 21 %.
Between January and March, the number of paid bed nights was 105,000 (+20.8 %). Share of registered was 80 % and non-registered 20 %.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Paid bed nights
Registered bed nights increased 111 percent
In March 2021, 29,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Jämsä (+110.7 %), of which 28,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 720 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 124 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 38 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 111 percent from last year's March.
23,600 nights (+158.7 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 5,600 nights (+18.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 82,000 registered bed nights (+63.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,600 (-85.1 %) for foreigners in Jämsä, in total 84,600 (+25.0 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased two percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased two percent compared to earlier year. In Jämsä, length of stay in March was on average 3.0 nights and in Finland 2.7 nights (+16.1 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Jämsä on average 3.0 nights (+7.7 %) and foreigners 2.6 nights (-36.7 %).
9,800 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 106 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.1 percent were domestic, and 2.9 percent were from foreign countries.

Total accommodation sales in March were 1.4 million euro (+630,000). The share of Airbnb and Vrbo was 23.1 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 1.1 million euro (+613,000) and non-registered sales 321,000 euro (+17,300).
Total January-March sales were 3.9 million euro and they increased 772,000 euro from the previous year.
