Registered bed nights increased 420 percent
In April 2021, 268,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Jämtland County (+419.1 %), of which 263,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 440 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 80 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 420 percent from last year's April.
Between January and April, 1.4 million registered bed nights (+41.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 29,100 (-80.1 %) for foreigners in Jämtland County, in total 1.5 million (+25.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
