Registered bed nights increased 14 percent

In September 2021, 144,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Jämtland County (+14.2 %), of which 126,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 17,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 59 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 14 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (3,300 nights).

Between January and September, 2.4 million registered bed nights (+30.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 153,000 (-21.3 %) for foreigners in Jämtland County, in total 2.5 million (+25.8 %) registered nights.

Market share 3.5 percent

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Jämtland County out of total registered bed nights was 3.5 % (-0.5 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 3.7 % and foreign bed nights 2.5 %.
