126,000 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 126,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Jämtland County (-2.6 %), of which 115,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 11,400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 48 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased three percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (2,900 nights).

Between January and September, 1.8 million registered bed nights (-13.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 194,000 (-64.6 %) for foreigners in Jämtland County, in total 2.0 million (-24.3 %) registered nights.

Market share 4.0 percent

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Jämtland County out of total registered bed nights was 4.0 % (+1.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 4.3 % and foreign bed nights 2.6 %.
