453,000 registered bed nights

In February 2020, 453,000 bed nights were recorded in Jämtland County (-8.0 %), of which 391,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 62,100 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased eight percent and foreign bed nights decreased nine percent. In total, bed nights decreased eight percent from last year's February.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (21,500 nights).

Between January and February, 638,000 bed nights (-7.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 115,000 (-12.0 %) for foreigners in Jämtland County, in total 753,000 (-7.9 %) nights.

Market share 10.3 percent

Total of 4.4 million bed nights (+2.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.5 million nights (+3.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 928,000 nights (-2.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Jämtland County out of total bed nights was 10.3 % (-1.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 11.3 % and foreign bed nights 6.7 %.
