Registered bed nights increased eight percent
In November 2019, 102,000 bed nights were recorded in Jämtland County (+7.6 %), of which 79,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 22,400 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased three percent and foreign bed nights increased 29 percent. In total, bed nights increased eight percent from last year's November.
Between January and November, 2.2 million bed nights (+4.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 589,000 (+0.3 %) for foreigners in Jämtland County, in total 2.8 million (+3.4 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
