7,400 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 7,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Jokkmokk (-44.8 %), of which 6,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 720 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 28 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 83 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 45 percent from last year's June.

660 rooms (-75.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (+13.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 58,100 registered bed nights (-37.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 23,100 (-27.1 %) for foreigners in Jokkmokk, in total 81,200 (-34.6 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.2 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Jokkmokk out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.3 %.

3,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 55 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.9 percent were domestic, and 8.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Jokkmokk on average 2.3 nights (+0.26) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+1.2).
