Registered bed nights increased 19 percent

In September 2021, 135,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Jönköping County (+19.4 %), of which 106,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 29,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 73 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 19 percent from last year's September.

Between January and September, 990,000 registered bed nights (+14.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 195,000 (+58.7 %) for foreigners in Jönköping County, in total 1.2 million (+20.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Jönköping County out of total registered bed nights was 3.3 % (-0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 3.2 % and foreign bed nights 4.0 %.
