Jönköping County: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered bed nights increased 10 percent
In June 2019, 214,000 bed nights were recorded in Jönköping County (+10.5 %), of which 147,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 66,700 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased nine percent and foreign bed nights increased 13 percent. In total, bed nights increased 10 percent from last year's June.
Between January and June, 543,000 bed nights (+6.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 170,000 (+4.4 %) for foreigners in Jönköping County, in total 714,000 (+6.1 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
