Jönköping County: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered bed nights increased five percent
In November 2019, 97,100 bed nights were recorded in Jönköping County (+4.6 %), of which 82,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 14,300 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased nine percent and foreign bed nights decreased 15 percent. In total, bed nights increased five percent from last year's November.
Between January and November, 1.2 million bed nights (+2.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 488,000 (+6.5 %) for foreigners in Jönköping County, in total 1.7 million (+3.9 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
