Registered bed nights increased 107 percent
In December 2021, 72,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Jönköping County (+107.0 %), of which 58,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 14,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 91 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 230 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 107 percent from last year's December.
Between January and December, 1.2 million registered bed nights (+20.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 246,000 (+62.1 %) for foreigners in Jönköping County, in total 1.5 million (+25.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
