Total of 48,300 bed nights (+5.1 %) were recorded in paid accommodation in Jyväskylä in January 2020. This figure includes bed nights at registered establishments as well as at AirBnB and Vrbo. The share of registered bed nights was 70 % and non-registered 30 %.

In January 2020, 33,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Jyväskylä (+2.5 %), of which 29,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased four percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased six percent. In total, registered bed nights increased two percent from last year's January.
14,400 nights (+27.9 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 19,300 nights (-10.8 %) by business visitors.

Length of stay increased 19 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 19 percent compared to earlier year. In Jyväskylä, length of stay in January was on average 1.7 nights and in Finland 2.0 nights (-1.9 %).
