7,600 registered bed nights (February)

In February 2021, 7,600 bed nights were recorded in Kajaani (-22.7 %), of which 7,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 500 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 23 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 12 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 23 percent from last year's February.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Portugal (250 nights).

4,300 nights (-30.1 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,300 nights (-10.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and February, 11,500 bed nights (-28.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,100 (-37.8 %) for foreigners in Kajaani, in total 12,700 (-29.8 %) nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 37 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 97.4 percent were domestic, and 2.6 percent were from foreign countries.

During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kajaani on average 1.7 nights (+0.26) and foreigners 4.3 nights (+2.4).
