In March 2020, 5,100 bed nights were recorded in Kajaani (-45.4 %), of which 4,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 450 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 47 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 24 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 45 percent from last year's March.
3,000 nights (-26.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,100 nights (-60.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 20,900 bed nights (-10.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,300 (-12.9 %) for foreigners in Kajaani, in total 23,100 (-10.4 %) nights.
