122,000 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 122,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Kalmar County (-14.1 %), of which 108,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 13,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased eight percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 44 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 14 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (7,000 nights).

Between January and September, 2.0 million registered bed nights (-9.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 110,000 (-78.8 %) for foreigners in Kalmar County, in total 2.1 million (-22.8 %) registered nights.

Market share 3.9 percent

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Kalmar County out of total registered bed nights was 3.9 % (+0.7 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 4.0 % and foreign bed nights 3.1 %.

Registered January-September sales were 343.6 million SEK and they decreased 183.0 million euro from the previous year.
