Registered bed nights increased 105 percent
In April 2021, 71,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Kalmar County (+105.5 %), of which 65,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 100 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 198 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 105 percent from last year's April.
Between January and April, 169,000 registered bed nights (+9.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 21,600 (+20.3 %) for foreigners in Kalmar County, in total 190,000 (+11.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Registered accommodation sales in April were 26.3 million SEK (+15.7 million).
Registered January-April sales were 75.1 million SEK and they increased 2.1 million euro from the previous year.
