Kalmar County: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered bed nights increased one percent
In January 2019, 39,900 bed nights were recorded in Kalmar County (+1.2 %), of which 36,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,400 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased three percent and foreign bed nights decreased 15 percent. In total, bed nights increased one percent from last year's January.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (690 nights).
