Karlsborg: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered accommodation. All changes are relative to the same period a year ago.
1,700 registered bed nights
In February 2022, 1,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Karlsborg (-39.8 %), of which 1,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 250 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 48 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 580 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 40 percent from last year's February.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (121 nights).
160 rooms (+40.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 870 rooms (-25.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and February, 2,300 registered bed nights (-51.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 330 (+358.3 %) for foreigners in Karlsborg, in total 2,600 (-45.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased nine percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 85.7 percent were domestic, and 14.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Karlsborg on average 2.4 nights (-2.0) and foreigners 2.5 nights (-2.8).
