Registered bed nights increased eight percent
In June 2022, 7,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Karlskoga (+8.5 %), of which 5,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased less than one percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 83 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased eight percent from last year's June.
950 rooms (+403.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (-39.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 27,200 registered bed nights (+45.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,300 (+145.3 %) for foreigners in Karlskoga, in total 31,500 (+53.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 20 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.9 percent were domestic, and 12.1 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Karlskoga on average 4.1 nights (-0.64) and foreigners 6.3 nights (+0.28).
