Registered bed nights increased 26 percent
In September 2021, 30,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Karlskrona (+26.1 %), of which 22,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 8,200 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased five percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 180 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 26 percent from last year's September.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Poland (3,400 nights).
9,300 rooms (+60.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 8,300 rooms (+21.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 282,000 registered bed nights (+7.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 50,600 (+176.0 %) for foreigners in Karlskrona, in total 333,000 (+18.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
