Registered bed nights increased 39 percent

In December 2021, 3,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Katrineholm (+38.7 %), of which 3,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 173 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 68 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 39 percent from last year's December.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United Kingdom (52 nights).

980 rooms (+69.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,300 rooms (+12.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 88,000 registered bed nights (+5.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,600 (+76.7 %) for foreigners in Katrineholm, in total 91,600 (+7.3 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 88 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.5 percent were domestic, and 4.5 percent were from foreign countries.
