Registered bed nights increased 84 percent
In April 2021, 4,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Katrineholm (+83.9 %), of which 4,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 191 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 77 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 1,000 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 84 percent from last year's April.
740 rooms (+131.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,600 rooms (+60.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 12,600 registered bed nights (+2.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 570 (+5.5 %) for foreigners in Katrineholm, in total 13,100 (+2.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 121 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 94.0 percent were domestic, and 6.0 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Katrineholm on average 2.0 nights (-0.36) and foreigners 1.5 nights (-0.09).
