5,900 registered bed nights

In September 2019, 5,900 bed nights were recorded in Katrineholm (-25.5 %), of which 5,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 290 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 26 percent and foreign bed nights increased less than one percent. In total, bed nights decreased 25 percent from last year's September.

1,300 rooms (+36.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,300 rooms (+3.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 80,100 bed nights (-1.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,800 (-4.7 %) for foreigners in Katrineholm, in total 85,800 (-1.5 %) nights.

3,700 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 11 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 94.5 percent were domestic, and 5.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Katrineholm on average 1.6 nights (-0.3) and foreigners 1.4 nights (-0.4).
