Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 20 percent

In November 2019, 5,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Kävlinge (+20.0 %), of which 4,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 15 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 39 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 20 percent from last year's November.

1,200 rooms (+25.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,100 rooms (+35.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 67,000 registered bed nights (+1.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 24,700 (+14.8 %) for foreigners in Kävlinge, in total 91,600 (+4.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.6 million registered bed nights (+3.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.9 million nights (+5.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 731,000 nights (-6.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Kävlinge out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay increased 27 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 27 percent compared to earlier year. In Kävlinge, length of stay in November was on average 2.3 nights and in Sweden 1.8 nights (+0.6 %).

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kävlinge on average 2.1 nights (+9.9 %) and foreigners 3.4 nights (+35.1 %).

2,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased six percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 82.9 percent were domestic, and 17.1 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kävlinge on average 2.1 nights (+0.33) and foreigners 3.4 nights (+1.3).
