In September 2020, 8,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Kemi (-18.8 %), of which 6,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 19 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 18 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 19 percent from last year's September.
2,300 nights (-25.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 6,300 nights (-15.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and September, 34,100 registered bed nights (-34.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 18,200 (-33.8 %) for foreigners in Kemi, in total 52,300 (-34.2 %) registered nights.
