6,500 bed nights in paid accommodation (April)
Total of 6,500 bed nights (-4.5 %) were recorded in paid accommodation in Kimitoön in April 2023. This figure includes bed nights at registered establishments as well as at AirBnB and Vrbo. The share of registered bed nights was 45 % and non-registered 55 %.
Between January and April, the number of paid bed nights was 17,600 (+7.2 %). Share of registered was 43 % and non-registered 57 %.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded. Non-registered bed nights statistics include bed nights from AirBnB and Vrbo.
2,900 registered bed nights (April)
In April 2023, 2,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Kimitoön (-13.8 %), of which 2,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 30 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 13 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 46 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 14 percent from last year's April.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Estonia (22 nights).
Between January and April, 7,400 registered bed nights (+2.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 91 (+0.0 %) for foreigners in Kimitoön, in total 7,500 (+2.2 %) registered nights.

Total accommodation sales in April were 307,000 euro (+17,300). The share of Airbnb and Vrbo was 57.7 percent. Therefore, registered accommodation sales were 130,000 euro (-1,800) and non-registered sales 177,000 euro (+19,100).
Total January-April sales were 802,000 euro and they increased 91,000 euro from the previous year.
