1,400 bed nights in paid accommodation
Total of 1,400 bed nights (-15.3 %) were recorded in paid accommodation in Kimitoön in January 2019. This figure includes bed nights at registered establishments as well as at AirBnB and Vrbo. The share of registered bed nights was 52 % and non-registered 48 %.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Registered bed nights increased nine percent
In January 2019, 740 registered bed nights were recorded in Kimitoön (+8.9 %), of which 730 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 18 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 13 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 53 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased nine percent from last year's January.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Russia (12 nights).

Length of stay increased 10 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 10 percent compared to earlier year. In Kimitoön, length of stay in January was on average 1.5 nights and in Finland 2.0 nights (+0.4 %).
During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Kimitoön on average 1.5 nights and foreigners 3.0 nights .

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased one percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.8 percent were domestic, and 1.2 percent were from foreign countries.
